deishovida is a group of musicians who re-feel the paths of living cultures where they always bump into new and exciting forms of musical expressions. In their own personal way they develop a common language in which they let their instruments sing about suffering, melancholy, joy and ecstasy. deishovidas style flows like their music - endlessly becoming more independent.

If you have an idea for any cooparation don't hesitate to contact us. current [touring] projects are: the "Sandy Lopicic Orkestar" the 15 musicians of the S.L.O. perform dance-music and songs from Ex-Yugoslavia and other Balkan-countries, passed through the filters of their own individual influences and imagination. deishovida together with Tunji Beier [perc] Tunji Beier's music is markedly influenced by his upbringing in Papua New Guinea, Nigeria, Australia, Germany and India. He plays his own tradition-breaking style on deishovidas album gaisfeld. deishovida together with Jörg Mikula & Philipp Pluhar [dr] two extraordinary and powerful drummers who know how to get the most out of deishovida. deishovida is performing together with Jörg Mikula & Philipp Pluhar during the Africa - tour 2000 [Zanzibar, Uganda] and the theatre-play "Pulverfass" during the "steirischer Herbst 2000" [Graz, A]. Uganda 2000 - InFusions In September 2000 deishovida did several concerts in Uganda, e.g. Cafe Wagadugu, House of Entertainment in Kampala, Masaka, Kabale and Ninja together with Ugandan artists, such as Ndere Troupe, Afrigo, The Big Five and many others. The tour was initiated by moving cultures. We want to say thank you for the great time to all our Ugandan friends.
